J2 Software WhatsApp Community – Terms of Use

Welcome to the J2 Software WhatsApp Community. By joining and participating in this community, you agree to the following terms:

1. Purpose of the Community

• This community is intended to be an alternative communication platform to share insights, service updates and resources related to J2’s services, vendor announcements, known outages, cybersecurity news and related information.
• It may be used as a platform for constructive discussion, knowledge sharing, and collaboration between J2 Software, our customers and partners.
• The community is to be a closed community open to J2 Software customers and partners, with all applications being reviewed and  approved. 

2. Respectful Engagement

• All communication will be respectful and professional.
• Harassment, abusive language, discriminatory remarks or personal attacks will not be tolerated.
• Discussions must be relevant to cybersecurity and the focus of the specific group in the community.

3. No Spam or Unauthorised Promotions

• Do not post advertisements, promotions, or solicitations for unrelated products or services.
• Sharing malicious links, files, or software is strictly prohibited.

4. Privacy and Confidentiality

• Do not share personal information (yours or others’) in the community.
• Discussions may involve security-related topics; please avoid sharing sensitive, confidential, or client-specific details.

5. Community Content

• Content shared by J2 Software on the community is for informational purposes only and should not be considered legal, compliance, or business advice.
• Members remain responsible for their own business and technology decisions. 

6. Monitoring and Moderation

• J2 Software reserves the right to moderate or remove content that does not align with these terms.
• Members who repeatedly breach these terms may be removed from the community without notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Participation in the community is voluntary.
• J2 Software is not liable for any damages, losses, or issues arising from reliance on discussions or content shared in this group.
